Finite Element Modeling and Simulation of a Solar Air Heater

This textbook offers a broad numerical treatment of a flat plate solar air heater.Solar air heaters are widely used in converting solar radiation to thermal energy; as such are important energy savers in a variety of domestic and industrial applications.The modelling and simulation offers uniquely a perspective to heat transfer modelling and solar energy research. Therefore, the numerical descriptions and scheme will prove useful in the state-of the-art design, modelling and development of improved solar absorbers and micro-absorbers for a range of solar and thermoelectric applications; as such students, researchers and industry personnel will most likely find it useful.
